Sister Sleepover

So I know I haven't written a legit blog email for a while. Not much has happened! I am trying to get this mess with my foot figured out, and that's been taking up a lot of my time. For our last hope this week, I was sent to Santiago to see a specialist there. Hna. Conley went with me, and I am SO grateful for that. God knew for sure that I needed her so he put her right in my path. President had no idea we were friends before the mission, so it was really just amazing that we got put together for this time. We got to laugh and play a lot, which was so great.

Santiago was so pretty. Its a huuuuge city--so many more people than we are used to! Everybody is busy, kind of reminded me of New York. It was a lot warmer there too, which was nice. We didn't have to wear a jacket at all.

Diez y ocho is coming up sooo soon, it's this Friday actually. It's Chilean independance and this year is their 200th, so they are spreading it out into 4 days and it is just going to be insannnne. I am so excited though, I have heard about diez y ocho ever since I got to Chile. People prepare for it for months. Can't wait! Also, this weekend has been great because we are having a women's conference with all the sisters in the whole mission! There are 20 of us and we are all so close. We are staying at the President's house, and this morning we got to go bowling!! It's so fun to see everyone and be able to hang out. Anyways, time's up, but I love you all and miss you!!
